About the Associate for Paid Media Campaign Operations
Manhattan Strategies is seeking an Associate for Paid Media Campaign Operations to support the execution, optimization and day-to-day management of paid media campaigns across social and programmatic platforms. This is a full-time, on site role based in New York City.
This role is designed for a highly detail-oriented, platform-native operator who thrives in execution. The Associate will build and launch campaigns directly within advertising platforms, manage budget pacing and creative rotations, and ensure campaigns run accurately and efficiently within an approved strategy.
This position works closely alongside the Associate for Paid Media Strategy & Insights. While strategy and deep performance reporting sit with that role, this Associate ensures campaigns are executed flawlessly and optimized daily for performance.

Role Focus
- Campaign Execution & Setup (40%): Build, QA and launch paid media campaigns across platforms including Meta, LinkedIn, X and StackAdapt. Own campaign structure, targeting accuracy, tracking integrity and naming conventions.
- Optimization & Budget Management (40%): Monitor pacing daily. Adjust bids, budgets and settings within approved strategy to improve performance. Manage creative rotations and troubleshoot delivery issues to ensure campaigns remain efficient and aligned to objectives.
- Cross-Functional Feedback & Reporting Support (20%): Identify short-term performance insights and optimization recommendations. Provide brief, clear updates to internal teams and contribute to feedback loops that inform creative iteration.
Responsibilities
- Operate confidently within paid media platforms, making sound optimization decisions within approved campaign strategy
- Build campaigns accurately and efficiently across social and programmatic platforms
- Manage daily budget pacing and performance monitoring
- Adjust bids, budgets, targeting refinements and settings within strategic guardrails
- Rotate and test creative assets to improve performance
- Identify risks or opportunities early and escalate when strategic shifts are needed
- Collaborate closely with strategy, design and communications teams
- Maintain platform hygiene, documentation and naming conventions
Qualifications
- 1-3 years of hands-on paid media execution experience (agency experience preferred)
- Strong working knowledge of Meta Ads Manager, LinkedIn Campaign Manager, X Ads and DSPs such as StackAdapt (or similar)
- High attention to detail and strong organizational discipline
- Comfort managing multiple live campaigns simultaneously
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative agency environment
- Strong communication skills and ability to surface insights clearly
Benefits & Compensation
- Total compensation range is $58,000 to $68,000 per year
- Benefits include bonus eligibility and 401(k) with company match
